Lisa Hanlon, Integrative Clinical Nutritionist

Hi there, I'm Lisa

As an integrative clinical nutritionist I specialise in womens health and performance nutrition, offering nutrition consultations and bespoke nutrient compounding that delivers outcomes for my clients struggling with weight gain, low mood, gut dysbiosis, skin issues, metabolic dysfunction and hormonal issues.

An integrative nutritionist uses dietary and lifestyle interventions, as well as nutrition supplementation whilst working alongside mainstream medical practitioners, such as GPs. I understand health from a mainstream medical lens and use tools such as blood test results, working with doctors to assess and treat the whole person. Merging mainstream Western medicine with a whole-body systems approach of nutrition means I can provide a powerful new perspective on your health and wellbeing.

What sets me apart in the nutrition industry is my ability to understand my client’s pain points as I have been through this too with my own health challenges. This ensures that my clients benefit from my lived experience. I have done the hard work already and made it to the other side!

I bring a unique approach to nutrition with my curiosity and love of researching and a deep commitment to sharing what I learn with my clients

My passion for nutrition has been with me for as long as I can remember, but it really kicked in around a decade ago when I was diagnosed with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) (early-onset menopause). I was 38 and although I saw numerous doctors, specialists, naturopaths, nutritionists and acupuncturists I wasn’t able to find any answers to help me through this phase, nor advice on how to prepare for life after menopause (including how to reduce risk factors related to bone, metabolic, cardiovasular and brain health that increase post-menopause).

I have spent the last decade researching the risk factors for women post-menopause, as well as how best for women to prepare for menopause and beyond for a long heathspan (living a long life full of health). The earlier you start the better shape your future self will be in.

I have a particular interest in diagnostics, using pathology results along with a detailed case history and working with GPs to ensure a truly integrative approach to health and wellbeing.

I would love to help you too!
